A series of shows tied in to a national study programme for discussion of the future, public affairs work, communities and the home in an attempt to help New Zealander face their situation in the 1970's, 

The five-week programme of meetings was promoted by the National Council of Churches and the Roman Catholic Church. 

M. Devine, the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation television producer of the controversial “Interview ’69” series, announced today he had resigned from the corporation and would leave at the end of June... Mr Devine insisted that his decision to leave the N.Z.B.C. had not been prompted by the decision of the corporation to drop his “Man and his Politics” programme from the “Interview ’69" series.
