Regional news show which when it started covered the southern region of the South Island, from Kaikoura, and items of particular interest in the Canterbury area which occur far away would be incorporated in the programme, by links with DNTV2, on a reciprocal basis.
In 1979 the staff included Geoffrey Harte, regional editor for the southern region, Stan Hosgood, production supervisor for CHTV3 and, in Dunedin, David Frew (news editor) and Hal Weston (production).
Hosts included Peter Neil and Mary Dick.
