In 1982. Kawerau farm manager Bob Edgcumbe became the eighth Earl of Mount Edgcumbe in Cornwall. Having spent eight years breaking in a Lands and Survey farm block, Edgecumbe moved his family to the estate in Cornwall. The programme shows the Edgcumbe family living on the sheep and cattle farm, and on their Cornwall estate after they have been in residence there for two weeks.
